A quick risk reminder: I took profit on half of my gold position at the lowest point, then closed the base position during the upward move. I also closed the short on the coin at 73000. Overall, the profit has been cut by about half, which is still acceptable. There will be better opportunities to trade again later. Currently, the market looks very likely to rebound, but I won’t participate in any long positions. I’ll just patiently wait for the chance to short again.

1.5M in hand, barely comfortable enough

I don't have high demands. If Bitcoin reaches 70,000, I'll stay away from the crypto space. I don't want to deal with some lousy 60,000 anymore. Whoever wants to make money can go ahead and do it.

The fundamentals of gold have changed now. The market is focused on US and Japanese government bond yields and the yen's movement. Gold no longer has any safe-haven properties. I've been trading gold much longer than I've been involved in crypto. The first time I turned a profit trading full-time was with gold and silver. I understand gold's temperament quite well. Gold is very likely to break 4000, probably heading to around 3600-3800. With a relatively optimistic outlook, be patient and make a strong move.

I took a stop loss on shorting the Nasdaq, no big deal, let it run for now, just remember this, sooner or later I'll take back the position!
