Algorand just pushed transaction costs down to monthly lows...
On May 28, @Algorand's average transaction fee dropped to just $0.00015, marking the lowest levels seen this month according to @chainspect_app.
The figure makes $ALGO one of the most competitive blockchains when it comes to accessibility - a compelling narrative working in tandem with its quantum-resistant features, as touted by the @AlgoFoundation.
A Solana treasury is about to land in the Russell indexes
Forward Industries (@FWDind), the largest corporate holder of $SOL will join the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 at the index reconstitution effective June 29, putting Solana-linked equity exposure in front of the passive funds and institutional managers that track roughly $12 trillion in Russell benchmarks.
It is not the only crypto treasury making the jump. Ethereum holder SharpLink joins the same indexes, with BitMine and Galaxy Digital headed for the Russell 1000, a sign the treasury-company model is spreading from Bitcoin into ETH and SOL. Worth noting that Forward's SOL stake, bought near $232 last year, now sits about 64% underwater with the token near $82.
SEC Chairman is betting on CLARITY, a bet with such uncertainty
SEC Chairman Paul Atkins (@SECPaulSAtkins) said he expects the CLARITY Act to pass and reach President Trump's desk for signing. "I am confident that Congress will pass the CLARITY Act and the President will be able to sign it," Atkins said, arguing that this will provide the agency with a legal foundation and keep cryptocurrency innovation domestic. These remarks come as the Senate Banking Committee pushes the bill toward a full Senate vote.
This regulatory framework will divide oversight of digital assets between the SEC and CFTC, drawing the line between tokens considered securities and those considered commodities. It was passed by the House in July with a bipartisan vote of 294-134, but negotiations in the Senate have dragged on since then, and markets still predict the passage odds at about 55%. Atkins, however, is confident.
Dimon attacks Coinbase CEO and vows to fight for CLARITY
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon used a fireside chat at today's Reagan National Economic Forum to directly target Brian Armstrong (@brian_armstrong), leader of Coinbase, right on stage at the Reagan National Economic Forum today, with the clip aired on Fox Business. When asked about Armstrong representing the crypto industry, Dimon bluntly said: "He's full of sh!t." Regarding the bill itself: "We will fight against marking the CLARITY bill. If we lose, we will carry on."
The battle revolves around stablecoin yields. Dimon warned that this legislation allows crypto companies to effectively pay interest on deposits without the protections banks have, calling stablecoins a "huge latent problem" if Washington handles them carelessly.
Dimon is not against the technology; he supports blockchain and stablecoins for payments, but he is completely opposed to this regulatory framework. This is the second time this year he has attacked Armstrong, following a heated confrontation in Davos in January.
Chainlink spot ETFs have just recorded an inflow of nearly 1,000,000 USD.
On May 28, Chainlink spot ETFs @Chainlink recorded a net inflow of 984,150 USD, marking the best single-day performance these products have had since May 13.
Although there were only sporadic inflows over the past month, the two spot ETFs from @bitwise and @Grayscale currently hold nearly 110 million USD in AUM and control 1.68% of the $LINK supply.
Spot $XRP ETFs recorded a net inflow of 120,000,000 USD in May.
According to data from @SoSoValueCrypto, five US Spot ETFs of @Ripple recorded an impressive net inflow of 120.7 million USD in May...
... With positive inflows on all days except four days of the month, and no days recorded with net outflows.
These products are among the most successful Spot cryptocurrency ETFs launched to date and currently hold 1.36% of the current supply of $XRP.
The $HYPE spot ETFs still haven't seen a single day with capital outflows...
Something CRAZY is happening with the spot ETFs @HyperliquidX from @Bitwise and @21shares.
Since their launch earlier this month, these two products have:
- Recorded net inflows every day.
- Now hold nearly 1 in every 100 $HYPE tokens.
- Reached an all-time high daily inflow of $25.46 million on May 20.
Are you optimistic or is the Hyperliquid bubble about to burst?!
Stablecoin supply on Polygon is booming...
Over the past week, the stablecoin market capitalization on major chains like @Ethereum, @trondao, and @Solana has contracted.
However, this does not apply to @0xPolygon, where stablecoin supply has surged by more than +8% in the past seven days, reaching a total of approximately 3.678 billion USD at the time of writing.
$POL is currently the 8th largest chain by stablecoin supply and is closing in on surpassing @arbitrum to claim the #7 spot.
