always found it strange how most web3 projects talk about the future but still feel disconnected from real human life.
been following what @sleepagotchi is building lately and this shift caught my attention.
i’ve tracked sleep data with apple watch for years, but most of the time it just becomes another chart you ignore after waking up.
now they’re layering AI on top of wearables like Oura and Whoop to turn raw biometric data into actual daily actions.
not just “your sleep score is 78”
but intelligent agents helping with recovery, nutrition, routines, even personalized shopping decisions.
also interesting seeing kenny wood step in from the gaming industry. feels like they understand long-term engagement matters more than temporary hype loops.
the part that really sticks with me though is ownership.
every day we generate massive amounts of personal health data, yet almost none of us truly control or benefit from it.
crypto talks a lot about sovereignty, decentralization, self-custody…
but rarely about ownership of our own bodies and data.
if Sleepagotchi executes this properly, it could quietly become one of the more meaningful consumer crypto use cases.
curious to see where it goes.
